OWA redirect when clicking on link

I have Exchange Server 2003 on Windows 2003 Server.  I have a problem with OWA adding a redirect to any link inside of an email sent.  If an email with a link to a webpage is sent and the user clicks on the link, OWA adds our exchange server address to the front of the link when opening.  How do I fix this?   There is a similar question posted in this forum, and I checked the exchweb directory and it has anonymous access.  What else can I check?

That is how Exchange is designed to work.
It is a security feature to protect OWA.

How is the URL getting in to OWA? Is it being directly posted in to the window, or is a message with the URL being reused?

It is a link within the email.  When a user sends a link within the context of their email, the receiver clicks on the link, it adds the mail server in front of the url.  It is a major pain because people think the links do not work.  They do not understand that they have to get rid of all that extra stuff in front of the real url.  Is there no way to get rid of that?  This does not happen with aol or yahoo email.

It appears there is nothing I can do about the links and the redirect.  I will just have to explain to the users how to remove the redirect address and follow the link.  Thank you!
