How can I loop through this mysql query properly?

Hello. I have a php/mysql program i'm writing and in my database i have a few fields with values
such as:

date info title
2007-08-03 test 3 my title
2007-08-04 test 4 4 title
2007-08-12 test info test title
2007-08-12 test2 info test2 title

Here is the problem:
I wish to loop through these values but rows that have the same date i want to echo them to the browser
as one row!
what i'm doing is storing the information in an html <DIV> tag and i want all of the information for a single
date to be stored in one <DIV> tag. so if there are two or more rows with the same date, i want that single <DIV> tag to contain each row in the loop that has that date!
will i have to store the values in another array as i loop through the rows? I just need to know a good way of doing this.
