export a drawing from a MsWord document into a PDF file

I have done a Ms Word document, which contains text and drawings.

How can I export a drawing from a MsWord document into a PDF file?
I need it to be vector-based, not bitmap based.

I tried this from my MacOSX:
-From MsWord 2004, copy the figure to the clipboard,
-From Adobe Acrobat 7 -> File -> Create PDF -> from Clipboard image.
 But the figure appears all black.

ps: I have MsWord 2007 for MsWindows, and MsWord 2004 for MacOSX.
