I see that similar sorts of questions to this have been asked before but they have never been answered properly. This is my first question on Experts Exchange so lets see if it works.
Please note that this question pertains to MMS messages, NOT SMS messages. Please also understand that you cannot send an MMS using just AT commands. It is more complicated than that. Also please note that I have already worked out how to package an MMS, I just now need to be able to send it to a mobile phone from my computer using a GSM/GPRS modem on linux. Also please note that I want to be able to send the MMS message using my GSM/GPRS modem - NOT via clickatell or some other such web service. I also do NOT want to be using a full blown MMSC gateway such as NowSMS (which is windows anyway) or MBuni.
I am writing a C++ application for a target embedded computer. I have a Wavecom M1306B GSM/GPRS modem with sim card and with which I can easily send SMS messages. So, I now need to be able to send an MMS message from my linux computer using this modem. Is there some software available to allow me to do this or does someone know how to code it?
Thanks in advance for your expertise,
Mark
