How do I find out all IP addresses in use DHCP and static
Hi,
I need to assign 50 new static IP addresses to a department. We have one scope in DHCP range 192.168.1.129 - 192.168.1.250. All other computers using static IP are typically in the range of 192.168.1.1 - 1.70. I would like to assign this range 192.168.1.80 - 1.128 to the new department.
I pinged a few IPs and they resolved to computers but did not get a reply nor a name resolution.
I would not want an IP conflict so looking for a way to find what IP are in use on the network. How?
Thanks

Other way is you can keep same subnet and use different IP range. That is if you keep subnet as 255.255.0.0 then you can use 192.168.2.1 to 192.168.2.255.
