How to I install extra fonts to use with Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium programs?
I have installed Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium. Adobe "gave" me an extra font which I'd like to install, and a client gave me one of his five licensed seats for another font -- Berthold Akzidenz-Grotesk BQ --which I NEED to install for use with InDesign (CS3, v5) and Illustrator (CS3, v13.0.0).
In the best of all possible worlds, I'd like these fonts to be available for other programs as well. However, I cannot figure out how and where to install these fonts. Can someone offer some guidance or a link to instructions? I've been unable to locate the information in the Adobe materials I have. I'm a rank beginner with these programs, though, so I'm sure I'm overlooking the place this information is sure to be.
Thanks for your help!

Thanks for your quick response! I tried your instructions and I did fine up through "Appearance and Personalization > Fonts", but clicking on "Fonts opened a window that does not have the words "File" or "Install New Font" anywhere. I know where the fonts I want to install are, but can't find the point at which I can click "Install". What am I missing? [I'm about to step out for dinner, so may not respond quickly if you're able to clarify the next step for me anytime soon.]
Thanks!

I will reiterate what I wrote publicly. I appreciate your help and the fact that your explanation was clear, concise and very complete. I'm impressed with this site largely because of you assistance was everything the site claimed -- quite, willing and accurate. Cheers!
In Windows Vista, start by clicking the Start button, then clickon Control Panel -> Appearance and Personalization -> Fonts.
Now click File, then Install New Font.
Find the font you want to add, on your computer, CD, flashdrive, etc, and select it, then click Install.
This will make these fonts available for all applications, not just Adobe's.
Cheers,
