How do I obtain lost Tiscali e-mails and address book after switching to Sky?
Am trying to help my daughter to obtain her previous Tiscali emails and address book after switching to Sky - cany anyone help please? Many thanks from a frustrated father!

Did you actually use Outlook Express or their webmail? Do you know if it was POP or IMAP mail?In OE, What do you see when you go to Tools, Accounts, then click the Mail tab?

My daughter used the Tiscali webmail rather than OE. I need to visit her house to try Mi Tec Mail Viewer and search for .dbx and .wab files and will revert to u. Many thanks in the meantime.
try a program like teamviewer to do a remote connection with her, she installs TeamviewerQS, u install the regular Teamviewer setup, u can view and work on her pc remotely very easy. its also a freebie
www.snapfiles.com has both mitec mail viewer and wabmail programs
Those programs won't help you, because they're searching on your local computer. Your emails never resided on your computer, because they were only viewed through webmail. That means they're all still sitting there on Tiscali's mail server. Very likely, they're gone for good. Your only option is to talk to them to see if you can regain access. You might have to pay for another month of internet from them. They're not going to be cooperative though. Remember, you left them for somebody else.
