Hi EE,
Was wondering how you figure out how to do menu commands using VBA

Hi Helen and Mx,
a)customized menus are one of my weakpoints
so thx mx, for the links especially since they show screen shots
thx helen, for the concept that one can execute from a custom menu
b) Mx,
thx for confirming the DoCmd.RunCommand as a viable command to browse its intellisense
c) Helen,
I am using A2003 ....
Another weak point I have is working with the Object browser
I followed your instructions so far, and pasted a screen shot
can you give me an example of what to look for to "complete this exercise"
tx again everyone, s

Mx:
I would like to congratulate you on your MVP 2009 Access award....
Mx please excuse me for waxing poetic about Helen...
Helen helped me years ago with Access to word automation to generate labels programmatically.
I found Helen's website, and contacted her with questions and to my utter delight Helen held my
hand while I figured out the technique. I still use the VBA, and all users are impresses as they
watch the labels zippily being populated on the Word screen. I always rave that an author took
the time out to help me....
Thank you soooo much Helen...
OK, now i'll come in for a landing...
thx Helen and Max, I need to digest your info and get back to you...
tx again, s
