Windows 7 themes reversed?
If I choose the Aero theme "Windows 7", the Windows Classic theme getss enabled, and vice versa.
If I choose the aero theme "Architecture", the High Contrast #1 theme gets enabled, and vice versa.
Characters with High Contrast #2, and vice versa. Landscapes with High Contrast Black and vice verse. And Nature with High Contrast white and vice versa.
What the heck is going on here? I did indeed install a theme pack, but I didn't expect it to reverse a bunch of my themes... system rollback hasn't fixed this.

Very strange... I presume you did a reboot to see if the problem persisted?

New profile makes it work... no way to fix any portion of my profile? Theres loads of stuff I rather not have to transition over to my new account (MSN items, browser settings, etc)
When something so simple and innocuous as the themes go haywire and starts displaying this "odd" or "strange" or "weird" behavior.... It means that you would have to go into the deep corners of the registry to fix entry by entry.
Since it works when you create a new profile, we know that none of the critical Windows files is corrupt.
You could try "exporting" the profile.... no guarantee it will export successfully or even that the problems won't export with it... but it might work. I always try to leave the door open just in case there is something that can be done.
Also, there is a chance that you can attempt to go to a "restore point" previous to this "corruption" happening. I don't see why not. Nevertheless, your comment "...system rollback hasn't fixed this..." leads me to believe that you have already attempted this.

Guess I'm out of luck than? Wish there was a profile fix tool from MS.
