joomla upload component

I use the media manager to upload the files in joomla 1.5 version. This component uplaods everything in the root directory of joomla media manager. Is there any way i can define the folder and upload it?

Media Manager allows to create directories but it does not allow to upload the directory.. by default it uploads to the root directory of media manager.

Is there any way, in the media manager itself, we can upload images/files ... in diff. directory?

Hey Loudotcom,
