Win 7 user profile

Hello EE. I need to re-create a user profile in Windows 7 because of corruption on the original profile. I renamed the profile and logged on as the user to create a new profile. When I do that Windows tells me that "You are logged on with a temporary profile. Any changes will be lost when you logout......" I the PC is running windows 7 and is part of a domain. There are no logon scripts. I tried to manually create the profile folder in the USER folder but that did not help. All the other profile folders had lock symbols on them but not the folder I manually created. What am I doing wrong?

The windows is not letting me enable the administratoraccount from command line or local security policy. It complains about the password not meeting complexity requirements.

I tried following the Microsoft article but it creates the new profile on the local computer and not in documents and settings even though I follow the instuctions for a computer on a Domain. So when I go to copy the entries in the old profile I do not see the new profile. When I try copying the problem profile to a share it tells me I need permission whether I am logged on as the user or as a domain admin.
As none of the procedures worked for me I had to reload the OS. It turned out that the PC also had a virus that could not be cleaned. DELPROF did not support WIN 7. Thanks for all the suggestions guys.
Reloaded OS.
