I've had the issue on a few different computers where after running malwarebytes to remove rogue antivirus's I can no longer access .exe files. Almost as though in removal it's removed the registry key that associates those files as applications. <br />
<br />
Please provide me with any fix that may work as this is becoming a frustration.<br />

Rogue virus breaking file extensions for .exe

Anti-virus software was originally developed to detect and remove computer viruses.
