Removing WSUS from SBS 2008
Hey Guys,
I want to stop WSUS on ALL my SBS 2008 servers. Has anyone got a walkthrough for this, including removing the existing databases and freeing up the disk space....
Thanks!

Did you read the blog ???
WARNING: Do Not Do This if you are running WSUS on SBS 2008! SBS 2008 installs Sharepoint and WSUS on the same server and both applications store their database in Windows Internal Database. Removing Windows Internal Database (MICROSOFT##SSEE) using steps 6-8 will break Sharepoint and anything else you may have installed that relies on Windows Internal Database.

Yes I did. Supplied a reference including a WARNING. The final discussion would be up to the person asking the question.

Either way, it is recommended to *NOT* remove WSUS from SBS2008.
If you dont want to use it, you change the "Specify Intranet Microsoft update service location" to Null <--done in group policy
And change the synchronization schedule to manual in WSUS options.
