Best Hardware Spam Filter and why

Hi,

We are looking into purchasing a hardware based spam filter, but aren't sure which is the best for the price.

We are currently running a windows 2003, exchange 2003, and symantic mail security.

We have been happy with symantic mail security, but our server is pegging out with scanning messages.

So we are looking into getting a hardware based spam filter, so the exchange server will be that just an exchange server.

We have looked at the barracuda and it seems great for virus filtering but not so great on spam.

Can you tell me what you all think would be the best and why?

If the barracuda stinks why and what other alernatives there are.

Also price is a factor, but if the benifits out way the cost then that isn't a problem.
