The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Spamassassin Cmds

this is a three-part question thus the reason for the point .allocation... basically Im using Spam assassin however im having some difficulty with one or two commands i.e.

Question 1)
If sent a message e.g. testing 123 this is not spam  using the REPORT command I get the original message
returned as part of the result e.g.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spam: False ; -1.4 / 5.0

Spam detection software, running on the system "my server name", has
identified this incoming email as possible spam.  The original message
has been attached to this so you can view it (if it isn't spam) or label
similar future email.  If you have any questions, see
the administrator of that system for details.

Content preview:  testing 123 this is not spam [...]

Content analysis details:   (-1.4 points, 5.0 required)

 pts rule name              description
---- ---------------------- --------------------------------------------------
-1.4 ALL_TRUSTED            Passed through trusted hosts only via SMTP
 0.0 MISSING_MID            Missing Message-Id: header
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Is there a way in which I can make the same command without having the original message returned?
Question 2)
With this in mind is there also a decent reference guide which will give a simplistic overview of commands that can and cannot be sent?
Question 3)
Also my final question which should in theory be a simple one i hope is related to Threshold what is this and how is it used and can it impact upon the scoring as Ive noticed that some test messages that should be spam are not necessarily get seen as so?

thanks
Paul
