The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Barracuda bounces emails with loops back to  myself error message

Hello,

For the last week or so we have seen a lot of  bounced emails outbound through our barracuda spam gateway.  We have spent countless hours with many Barracuda techs and they are convinced it is the other domains problems.  It only happens about 5% of the time and usually is not repeatable so it is hard to duplicate.

When emails are sent to many other domains the messages are bouncing with the following messages (domain names changed)

Status: 5.0.0
X-Supplementary-Info: < barracuda.mydomain.com #5.0.0 X-Spam-Firewall; mail for theotherdomain.com loops back to    myself>
X-Display-Name: dennis@theotherdomain.com

The message is always the same with the domain and email address information changed per incident.
The barracuda guys have checked the barracuda settings dozens of times and they also added a verizon DNS server to our existing DNS server which did not help.  Email forwards out from our Exchange 2003 enviroment thought the smart host which is the barracuda.

Can someone please help?
