Coldfusion Base64 DES encryption query string pass to ASP .NET VB decrypt ability<br />

Does anyone know how or have an example of an query string parameter encrypted using cold fusion base64 DES method and needs to be decrypted by ASP .NET VB code base on the other end.<br />

I need to do this to auto authenticate users from one system to the next on different physical servers.<br />

Any help is appreciated.<br />

Does anyone know how or have an example of an query string parameter encrypted using cold fusion base64 DES method and needs to be decrypted by ASP .NET VB code base on the other end.

I need to do this to auto authenticate users from one system to the next on different physical servers.

Any help is appreciated.

A web server refers to the software that helps to deliver web content that can be accessed either through the Internet or through an intranet. The primary function of a web server is to store, process and deliver web pages to clients. The communication between client and server takes place using the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP). The most common use of web servers is to host websites, but there are other uses such as gaming, data storage, running enterprise applications, handling email, FTP, etc.

Active Server Pages (ASP) is Microsoft’s first server-side engine for dynamic web pages. ASP’s support of the Component Object Model (COM) enables it to access and use compiled libraries such as DLLs. It has been superseded by ASP.NET, but will be supported by Internet Information Services (IIS) through at least 2022.

Encryption is the process of encoding messages or information in such a way that only authorized parties can read it. In an encryption scheme, the intended communication information or message, referred to as plaintext, is encrypted using an encryption algorithm, generating ciphertext that can only be read if decrypted. For technical reasons, an encryption scheme usually uses a pseudo-random encryption key generated by an algorithm. An authorized recipient can easily decrypt the message with the key provided by the originator to recipients, but not to unauthorized interceptors.
