The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. MSSQL 2005 Connection String

Developement on XP-pro
MSSQL 2005 express
language Classic-ASP/ADO/VBS
IIS 5.00 / 6.00
AspEncrypt is available from my web-hosting provider

I can access MSSQL 2005 Express database  succesfully from  my web application using the following connection string
in my global.asa file:
session("customer")="Provider=sqloledb;Data Source=home\SQLEXPRESS;Initial Catalog=customer;User Id=user123;Password=mypwd"

Please Note that I am new to MSSQL and never used Encryption software
I have a fairly good knowledge in programming using Classic-ASP / ADO / VBS

What steps do I take to secure/encrypt above connection string?
I am looking for a corrected / More Secure Connection-String
Is there Any additional software I need to get?
