I was working on a friends computer that had some virus. Ran AVG it would find some things but couldn't seem to quite get rid of them. Downloaded Threatfire on a thumb drive and installed,
in meantime went to my computer to download another program on thumb drive after downloading AVG and Threatfire running on my computer popped up with warnings had them deleat what they found, computer seemed to freeze. Rebooted and checkdsk ran then woul never come up to the windows opening screen. Rebooted in safe mode got a little further as my username would show up on screen but then nothing. Hit ctrl-alt del and in file searched for explorer.exe nothing, in browse all my files seem to be there but no way to access them. On the other computer threat fire found files to quarentine as soon as I did that and rebooted same thing on that computer. Any help would be appreciated. Treechopper69
