Oh, sorry.. password protection?

You can learn PERL, PHP or .htaccess for Apache to protect your pages.
If you don't have time to learn of those, please consult www.freewebs.com, maybe they have simpler way to protect your files.

When you're 14, I guess you don't have all that much $$$ to spend. I can recommend this software to you, it's really cheap, and there's a free trial:
http://www.swishzone.com/
and easy to use. You can create cool intros 'n stuff pretty quick.
For password protection I agee with above post and can't add much to that.

Well I will tell you the easiest way to build flash intros for your website. but you need to download trial version on Swish software. Log on to http://www.swishzone.com and download Predefined intros made by people and after downloading Intros and swish. then import the predefined intro in swish, modify the text and export the movie. I assume that you posses the basic knowledge of windows and web development. Or you can also download AceHTML 5, This is a very nice html editor that has inbuilt javascript text animations, menus, images and many more features.

For your second query how to give password protection log on to http://www.bravenet.com  here sign up for free and u will many advanced web tools like password protection of pages, Message-boards, Polls, Hit counters etc for free.

Best of Luck !!!

Macromedia FLASH MX 6 is about the best way to add dynamic content (programming code, audio, video, graphics, effects) to your website all in a single .swf file created with Flash, BUT ALL USERS NEED THE FREE FLASH 6 PLAYER TO PLAY IT SO IF YOU GO THIS ROUTE MAKE SURE YOU PLACE A DOWNLOAD LINK FOR THE FREE PLAYER ON EVERY PAGE OR SITE THAT UTILIZES THE FLASH TECHNOLOGY....  PLUS it can be pROTECTED, meaning it will be very difficult for someone to steal its content when protected with a password.  The file your create can be protected by a password if someone tries to open it in Flash 6 Authoring Program instead of view it in browser, which are 2 different actions ... www.macromedia.com (LOOKING At the exact code to create the .swf file can be protected and is different from VIEWING or RUNNING the file through browser/flash 6 viewer.

there are a few ways to protect and limit access to your domain/site.

The BEST being server side authentication via screen name and password.   Most decent Domain and Content Hosts have this.  Everything is done server side and all you have to do most times is select "PROTECT PAGE" in your options or control panel of your domain, enter screen names and passwords of those allowed IF YOUR DOMAIN HOSTING COMPANY SUPPORTS PAGE PROTECTION, then, when someone goes to your page, your browser sends a request to the server and the first thing that appears is the authentication screen asking name and password for entry BEFORE the page loads, thus protecting your content

If you are not looking for enterprise-class protection, there are many free scripts for same available.   Just do a free google.com search for "password script", or password code".   This way is easily circumvented though because the actual password and screen names accepted MUST reside on the page with the authentication script that can be viewed, so, the best way to go this route is to come up with a script that masks or hides the screen name and password through some sort of algorithm or encryption script so if someone views your source they cant or will have trouble with deriving the correct access name and password from your viewed source code.

Another way to do this is to set up a database file and run a small server on your pc, then create a page script that will access and scan the database for the appropriate name and passoword for your script to authenticate then give appropriate access.

if you are looking for something that looks cool, is easy to impliment, jsut so you can show to your friends, any free password script will do .... if you are looking for TRUE content and access protection and authentication, then research carefully, as there are ways to circumvent non-enterprise-class protection easily.

good luck

Make Flash without learning Flash:  http://www.coffeecup.com/firestarter/

Password protect web stuff:  http://www.coffeecup.com/java-password/

Word to the wise, don't use thier suggested webhost (BlueDomino) they are bad news, but the software is great!

For the PASSWORD protection, try HTML PASSWORD LOCK. 100% secure and you can get a free version. This program locks the file so that you can ONLY get in if you have entered the password (not by viewing source etc). I don't know the link but if you do a quick Google search that should find it for you.

Hope This Helps

Stephen!
