Dear Experts,
I'm concerned about the number of hacking/cracking questions that are being asked in this and sub-Topic Areas; Most Experts handle them very well, but a few questions and comments slip though the net, possibly because they're grey areas or because people don't realise the implications of what they've posted. I don't want to drive legitimate users away, but I don't want Experts Exchange to become an easy resource for spreading information that could be dangerous in the wrong hands. I realise much of the information is only a Google away, but other sites have their own policies for handling these issues.
I'd like to use the Topic Area Description to clarify the guidelines and remind members of their responsibilities. To that end, I've drafted a Description (below) to be put into all the Security TAs; It's long, wordy and plain awful - if anyone can come up with a simpler and/or more effective Acceptable Use Policy, points will be awarded.
You're the Experts - Please tell us what the guidelines should be and how to communicate them!
