Browse All TopicsHey there,
While I was downloading a product update from a site that wasn't exactly the best quality, I accidentally opened awi.exe as opposed to the update. It was against my better judgement, as any files included usually were trojans, spyware, or the like. Upon my first restart, the entire taskbar was hidden, but, using a task manager that my friend programmed, I was able to kill the threads hiding it and restart. I havn't had that same problem, but now, one of my svchost processes runs continuously at 100% CPU utilization. I've run scans with Spybot-S&D, AdAware, and HiJackThis, but none of them seem to say that anything's wrong. AntiVir doesn't find anything, either. Any and all help would be appreciated.
