about:blank Trojan, browser hijack

hi all, i have the following problem: i think i have the so-called cool search thing, that resets my home page to about:blank and opens a search portal, i have try various solutions including windows update, hijack-this, CWShredder, ad aware, latest norton update, also go into safe-mode and ran a full system scan with norton and detected a 'something'midi.exe that some how was releated to the byteVerify trojan as i saw in the symantec library, i have deleted that .exe, but i still get the about:blank, i also installed SpyBot this one comes with some sort of monitoring tool and i have notice that everytime i open or close a window (windows explorer or internet explorer ) i get the message from Spybot: 'Spybot has detected an important registry entry that as benn changed. Category: Browser page. Change:value changed. Entry: Start Page. Old Data: http://store.presario.net. New Data: about:blank ' and i get to choose: 'Allow change' or 'Deny Change' for what i respond "Deny Change". With this i know that the virus or wathever this thing is, is not completely removed, i have read a thread similar to this but none of the answers have helped me, here is my hijackthis log, any help very appreciated..
