spyware/adware hijacks

Hello again Experts,

I have been working on my brothers computer that has a bad case of spyware or adware on it...maybe both. My Search Bar, which I think is a product of MyWay, refuses to come off. I have used Hijackthis, and removed several regisrty keys and BHOs. Each time you remove them they come right back. There is alsoo Home Search Assistant, I am clueless about its origins

I have gone to add/remove hardware to uninstall from there, doesn't work. I have used several spyware programs to help...including webroot SpySweeper,Spyware Cop, Spyware Doctor and Spycleaner. Each time they clean off junk, it reappears again.

I have gone to safe mode to try and remove certain dlls and exe problems that are responsible. Either they can not be removed, or they are removed and reappear. I have even tried renaming stuff to delete. I have gone into the registry and removed stuff from HKLM run, and run once. They reappear. I think you get the picture by now...I am at the end of my rope and out of ideas . You guys got any?

My brother has Windows XP Home edition fro his OS... and some of the pest files include;

apibv32.exe
iehi32.exe
javaco.exe
