  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Spyware, Trojan and Virus Prevention

2 Questions

I'm sure you've heard of '180 Search Assistant' and 'Bargain Buddy' and the other trojan horses that accompany these.

They seem to install themselves onto my PC by visiting various websites.

I've been hit so many times with these infections that now I want to download something which will notify me WHILST or BEFORE such an infection is takes place rather than inform me AFTER I have been infected.
Maybe I can program the names into the Antivirus or Anti-Trojan software.

Is there anything I can do or download which will help me 1) I get infected?

A lot of infections place themselves in the Content.IE5 directory.
I know the location of this directory within Temp Ineternet Files within Local Settings.
But when I navigate there, there is no folder even though I have set "Show all hidden files and flders".

How do I get the folder to show up so I can enter into it manually?
