Ora_You: Kaspersky's antivirus program has an excellent heuristric search capability (this helps to find new viruses for which there is not yet a pattern available), where it definitely beats anything in color yellow. The question now seems to be whether you should/want to _replace_ an existing virus scanner in a running system. As these programs tend to be intertwined deeply with the underlying operating system, I would not replace one working virus scanner with another one. Once you do a clean installation, you can always switch over and use Kaspersky. It is one of my favorite scanners, by the way.
Hope this helps a bit further.

has.
