With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not?   • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Removing Trojan horse

Tags: trojan, horse, remove

My computer keeps coming up with a message saying that the file C:\Windows\G_server.dll is infected with Trojan horse BackDoor.Generic.OFR. If I try to either delete the file or move it to the virus vault it will come up with the message 'If a system file is removed from your disk, the operating system may cause an error and may be unusable'. The only choice I could make is to choose the option 'Heal'. After I have done that, a message will come up to say that is is successfully healed. However that message keeps coming up.
What does healing actually do and is it safe to remove that file?
