the first is please wait while windows configures norton antiirus 2006.
the second is norton antivirus 2006 dose not support the repair feature. Please uninstall and reinstall norton antivirus 2006.
Just to let you know i have done that and it works fine till i run the updates then the installer tries to run.

As crazy as this seems... it's because you've moved the shortcuts on the start menu.

yeah, I know... that sounds crazy, but it's true...
Two choices:
1) move the shortcuts back to the "root" of the "All Programs" directory on the start menu
2) go into the registry and hack those locations to point to where ever it is that you put 'em. Here are the keys
