The Solution Rating System

IE6 highjacked by adware and spyware

Help.. I have recently have my IE6 highjacked by adware and spyware calling it self
http://www.securitynetpage.com/.

No matter what I do the above URL has replaced my default URL on my IE6 and I get regular pop ups mostly relating to gambling and pornographic sites.

I my frustration to get rid of this hideous program I have ran Adware and Norton’s Antivirus 2006 no luck. Looks like the harder I try the stronger it becomes. It has also put an Icon of itself in my system tray taunting me.

Any ideas?
