Set ISA server download/upload Bandwirth

Hi,

Can you let me know how i can set the download/upload bandwirth in ISA server 2004 with out using the 3rd Party software.

To my limited knowledge, I don't know how to limit the download/upload bandwidth without some so-called ISA extensions.

Hi,

ISA does not support bandwidth control however you can do this in Squid Cache Server which is open source and has the delayed pool functionality. Delayed Pools are of two types:

1- Static Delayed Pools
2- Dynamic Delayed Pools

In static delayed pools fixed bandwidth is allocated regardless of the total number of users. In  dynamic delayed pools the total bandwidth is divided into the number of users.

Plz check the site www.isaserver.org & download the Add on of ISA Server by which you can limit b/w for users or group.

You can create rule & restrict b/w accrodingly
