Can you list out the 10 domain you have mentioned above
I think you can show your experience relatd to "Application Security" , "Operations Security " ..etc depends on projects you have developed.

First read at least one of
"SHON HARRIS - CISSP Certification Exam Study Guide"
"CISSP Prep Guide"
"CISSP Official Guide"
Then you can find, how you have applied, your experience related to CBK.

I think i am very unlicky, cos all my expertise is in developing supply chain and financial softwares.

First thing to do exam no need experience..etc. After you have passed it, You must submit your CV to them with applying full membership or associate membership. With that they will select you as CISSP Full member or Associate member. To become full member, you need that experience.

Dont you consider security approached when you developing your systems?
You can find CVs of CISSP qualified persons from following link.

https://www.isc2.org/cgi/resume_search.cgi?displaycategory=1177

You can search peoples from Industry ...etc. Look at the industry list.
Yes, most of the CISSP full membership  peoples are very expereinced network security guys.
But I saw one CV who is having 4 years expereince related to web development. sorry I can not find it exactly now.

Anyway to do exam , no need 4 years experience, if you are not selecting for CISSP full qualifications, after passing exam you can get associate membership and later you can get CISSP full membership.

Unless you can prove by supplimentery documents by your superiors that you *actually* have been involved in the *Security Life Cycle*, you won't be given the Certifcation. That is the bottom line.

Cheers,
Rajesh
Correct for get CISSP full membership. But not to sit for the CISSP exam or to get associate membership. ;)

ALL THE BEST!

Following links explains, why and how do we have become CISSP associate member....
https://www.isc2.org/cgi-bin/content.cgi?category=527
https://www.isc2.org/cgi-bin/content.cgi?category=1330

But for CISSP full or associate members .. exam will same. Its not easy.

Anyway to pass CISSP , you need experience related to security sector. Since most of the questions are based on management decisions.. not deep technical terms. But to take those decisions, we should know the usage of security technologies. Because it covers hudge area. I mean not deeply one section. Covers most sections overally. So will take time to understand some most of the management concept, because most of the questions are related to decision making, management ..etc . Not much deep technically. But to take those decisions you should know technical term and usage of technology very well (mostly via expereince).

But when you look at above listed books, you will see, those are very easy 10 topics. But you must exactly , correctly read those topics without missing anythings. And you must do practise exams. Then you can evaluate your self. If you work two months harldy , thats all. You can do it.

ALL THE BEST!

Career prospects as an associate? Yeah, probably, as it would show your dedication and objectives towards IS. This should give you opportunities to start as an entry level consultant and build the necessary experience from there on.
MS in information security? Sorry, can't help you. Don't know anyone here who has this.
