VPN errors between Sonicwall and PIC
Hi all,
I have a VPN setup between a Cisco Pix and a Sonicwall. The Pix in on the ohter end managed by the vendor we use.
Anyway, I keep seeing error in the log for the VPN stating "Payload processing failed".
Does anyone know a cause of this?
My suspicion is that perhaps they have NAT turned on on their end?
I am not very familar with PIX firewalls, but I have many VPN setup bewteen Sonicwall and Cisco products and they have no errors. My gut is that this is something on the PIX end, but I am not 100% certain.
Thanks,

Also, what's the leading/trailing error message info?
Multiple error states / communication issues can cause "Payload processing failed" errors... there should be more information (both before and after the "Payload processing failed" error that should give you more of a hint to the cause).
Examples:
INFO MM failed. Payload processing failed. OAK_MM_KEY_EXCH. Peer:
INFO MM failed. Payload processing failed: OAK_MM_NO_STATE. Peer:
INFO MM failed. Payload processing failed: OAK_MM_SA_SETUP. Peer:
Please post the log entry exactly from the log to assist with troubleshooting...
