From what I've heard, a small portion of the candidates get selected for auditing. They are called, asked a few questions related to their experience and possibly for references to support their work histories.
I would not worry too much about it as I've known about 30 CISSP candidates who passed the test and have never been audited of heard of anybody getting audited
