I am having trouble finding a bot on my network. Several workstations are reporting 2.exe errors, or ntvdm.exe.
When looking at system logs, the workstaion logs psexec has stopped, and started. which pushes the virus to the workstation. All my systems are running the latest version of trend micro office.
I found 2 systems on my network that had the psexec service running which i disabled, but am missing another instance of this.
I tried running wireshark on one of the systems, hoping to trace source packets but was unable to find the infected system.
all suggestions appreciated.
