2 suggestions I'd make, Nagios and/or Cacti.

Both a suited well for a medium business.
I use both for monitors our business network of 12 servers and 100+ PCs. As well as 10 or so rack mounted switches. Both are good for graphical representation and reporting. I find Cacti to be better for graphical information while Nagios I tend to use for more specific report methods like diskspace and so on.
