Kismet - wireless security - Live Linux CD

Hi,

Im trying to learn a bit more about the wireless aspect of security. So I tried to do some basic things. Therefore did the following:
- I downloaded a Live CD (OSWA) for wireless enumeration/Cracking/&
- I placed my wireless card in monitor mode
- I unloaded and reloaded the driver ipwraw (which should work with my Intel PRO Wireless 3945ABG, the driver is loaded by default apparently),and also checked no other wireless drivers are loaded&
- I changed the Kismet configuration as followed:  source=ipwraw,wifi0,wifi0 (which should be fine; my wireless interface is called wifi0).
- When I try to open Kismet, It closes immediately (so I guess something?! Is wrong&).

So what am I doing wrong?
