Problem: I have a share created in which in which a group will have complete control over so they can do anything they want. I don't really have to worry about the NTFS permissions, since they will be the only ones accessing the share with full control. However, I do need to secure a couple folders in the share, so I maybe be biting myself in the rear somewhere with what I previously stated. None the less, this is what I have done.
I created a share called sales_204. I set the share permissions as follows.
Domain Admins: Full Control
System: Full Control
Sales Group 204: Full Control
Creator Owner: Full Control
With this done, Sale Group 204 basically has full control over the share.
Now I created a folder called "test" at the root of the shared folder. I want to secure the "test" folder so that only certain people my modify the contents. I also do not want anyone to be able to delete the folder. The group that will have control over the folder is called CCH. There are two people from the Sales Group 204 that are part of CCH that need the access to the folder. So basically I want them to be able to do anything to this folder, except delete it.
I hope I explained everything ok.
TIA.
