The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. Enable computer and user accounts to be trusted for delegation

Hello All, I hope you are doing well.  I have a little problem with the task "Enable computer and user accounts to be trusted for delegation"

I have a W2K domain running native mode.  when I first tried to go to ADUC > Users > User > Account properties, I can tick the checkbox trusting the user for delegation, hit 'Apply' and then get the pop up message -

"your security settings do not allow you to specify whether or not this account is to be trusted for delegation"

I am logged on as me (member of Domain Admins), and as the Domain Administrator.
I found another post in this forum saying I needed to enable a part in the GPO.  so I went in and edited the section
to configure the security setting by opening the appropriate policy and expanding the console tree as such: Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\User Rights Assignment\
I enabled the policy and added administrator and domain admin to the policy.  I then ran the following line in the command.  
secedit /refreshpolicy machine_policy /enforce
logged off then back on and tried clicking the check box again under User > Account properties
I get the same error message like the permissions didn't get applied.
"your security settings do not allow you to specify whether or not this account is to be trusted for delegation"

Did I miss something?  What did I overlook?
