Has anyone successfully setup IPsec between Solaris 8 and Windows 2000 Server

Has anyone successfully setup IPsec connections between Solaris 8 and Windows 2000 server, out there? I know automatic IKE was not added to Solaris until 9 with the addition of the in.iked daemon. IKE is required by Windows 2000 for IPsec. So has anyone managed in getting such a connection working or equally has anyone tried and found that it just won't work withour Sol9?

I'm up against a wall on this one and the clocks ticking so I need a definitive answer either way asap. An before anyone asks I can't 'just try' it as there's not enough time and the unix and windows teams are seperate.

I just need to either here from someone who has achieved this or someone that knows that it fundamentaly won't work before I commit.
