How to add 600 users to a single goup

In our NIS, we have above 1000 users. About 600 of them are allowed to browse a specific server, while the rest is not.

We want to create a NIS group, e.g. "goodguys", put all 600 into it and let only the "goodguys" group access the / directory on the server.

However, this nice plan looks unfeasible, because we are not able to put so many usernames into a single line.
