RSC password reset on a Sun Fire V880

I was sent a Sun Fire V880 from another office and nobody knows the root or RSC passwords. Since the network configuration is for a different TCP/IP network the only access I have to the system is through the RSC serial port via a Windows laptop running hyperterm. I need to login to RSC in order to break the system, boot into single user mode and reconfigure tcp/ip. The problem is that the only way I've found to reset the rsc password is through Solaris, but I don't have access to Solaris.

The V880 has no video card so hooking up a monitor and keyboard don't seem to be an option.

If I remove the RSC card will it wipe the configuration information on it? I can't find any way to reset it, but surely there must be a way.Start Free Trial
