Browse All TopicsI was asked the other day to discover which solaris servers where in the DMZ. My understanding is that the network guys would/should know from the Ipaddressses of the servers but they tell me they do not have a list. Hence I provided on. Is there though a way of discovering if a solaris server is in a DMZ using its commands?

The IP address should tell you what machines are where. the command ifconfig will tell you the PC's IP's. Maybe you will also have to check the router's setup, as in some cases they are setup to map external IP's that would be in the DMZ to internal IP's on the LAN.
