Snap Server 18000 - can't seem to root login

hi
I have a snap server 18000 and i can ssh in as admin and get a > prompt. how do i get in as root ? the instructions imply I should get a $ command on admin then su up but I just get command not recognised. The guardian os is 4.4.045.

actually you do not get in as root at least on old BSD versions. UID 0 has other name Overland support will not tell you.
If you need root access use real OS, not embedded shade of OS

Can i login to the device and gain root access ? the instructions i have found for repairing the filesystem state  -

ssh in as admin then su and use the same password and gain a $ prompt.
 i can get in as admin but su isn't understood at a > prompt.
are these instructions for something else ?

Log in to snapcli
type osshell to get bash command line

You have to be admingrp user like administrator (aka wheel and root on UNIX)
