Browse All TopicsI am on an intranet. The timeout, I guess is being set my the network admin. It is currently set at 15 minutes. Is there a way to override this? I have tried going into Local Security Policy and changing the idle timeout to 30 minutes and in the registry changing ScreenSaveTimeOut @ HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop to 30 minutes. It still timesout at 15 minutes.

Global policy allways overrules local policy.

Ask your domain administrator why, and if it can be changed from 15 to 30 minutes.
