Browse All TopicsClient has DSL line and he connects via the router. Ran SpyBot, Adaware and spyseeker and removed lots of stuff. reran until nothing came up. Ran online virus scan which removed one torjan.
Wed all was fine.
Thursday he started to get pop-ups though IE 6 is not open.

Nothing in msconfig or reg run keys that are spyware type (only norton).
Yet something spurns the OS to open an ad with these addesses.
Client says more after I installed panicwares free popup stopped.
These even go through the pop up stopper you installed.

This second one has come up a lot over the span of this entire episode. It is the one that popped up when I was running Norton Systemworks and I clicked on it because I thought it was part of the program.
