Browse All TopicsHi,
I am trying to burn CDs under a PowerUser account in Windows XP professional.
I have an application that fails when burning a CD under the PowerUser account but works when under an Administrator account.
The CDR appears as read-only.
I have searched newsgroups and have found a registry key :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWAR
Changing this key allows my app to burn cds under a PowerUser account. However this "fix" disables XP CD burning under the Administrator account. - The CDR appears as a read-only CD.
The only thing that I have found so far is "NeroBurnRights" (http://www.nero.com/en/63
So far I am unable to find a solution that I can apply programmatically.
Can anyone help ?
Thanks
Gorav

normally you can choose during the installation of nero-burningrights to create a "NERO"-Group or allow all user. when you create the (local) "NERO"-Group you can put your power-users in it ... n in control-panel, where you can change the behavior of the already installed NBR)
(there should also be a "Nero-Burnings-Rights"-Ico
