The Solution Rating System

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. How to prevent unauthorized access to network resources

Hello all

I need to prevent unauthorized access to my network in the scenario that someone has stolen a users credentials.  To limit this risk I have enabled the "Log On To" feature in the users AD account and specified only the users office PC.  This prevents anybody from logging into another domain machine with the users creds or running a net use command to map drives.  However, there is a loophole if I know the name of the users office PC (lets say Computer A) in addition to the credentials.  If I connect an unauthorized computer (that doesnt exist on a domain) to my network, obtain an IP, and rename it to Computer A, I can then use the users credentials to map shares.  My question is: can I find a more effective way to prevent a user form authenticating against an unauthorized PC?
