I'm trying to fix my clients laptop, it looks like a rootkit is on there. I ran Malwarebytes and that came up with nothing found. I ran TrendMicro RootkitBuster and I see the 4 suspect files. I also see in msconfig-->startup, two suspicious entries. One is stsystra.exe and another item that's blank. I haven't disabled them yet, was worried it might cripple the system to not boot up. So how would I safely get rid of them? Thanks in advance.

Combofix will most likely not run here even after being renamed before saving to your desktop.
Can the RootkitBuster delete this file? --> C:\WINDOWS\system32\driver
If it can't, then download RootRepeal from either of these locations.

Install RootRepeal and select *Files* then scan only.
Look for this file below:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\
Next
After that you can run Combofix and show us the logfile.
You can still run Combofix if you like.. please attach the log so we can look at it to make sure it's clean.
If you do, you need to STOP all your monitoring programs (Antivirus/Antispyware, Guards and Shields) as they could easily interfere with ComboFix.
Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
When finished, it will produce a log. Please save that log and attach it in your next reply by pasting it in the "Code Snippet" or "Attach File" window.
Re-enable all the programs that were disabled during the running of ComboFix..
Note:
Do not mouse-click combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.
CF disconnects your machine from the internet. The connection is automatically restored before CF completes its run. If CF runs into difficulty and terminates prematurely, the connection can be manually restored by restarting your machine.

Yeah more than likely they are bad files. I always suggest using combofix to take care of these for you. Get it and just follow the steps to run it.
