My enterprise face a typical problem from this scenario,
My office Laptops conncted through Wired or Wireless Network with 802.1X security to Corporate Network. But most of my laptop users using HP laptop and has in built SIM slot with 3.G enabled. Users sometimes use this in office to get bypassed my corporate proxy and to browse Internet with out any restrictions. This in effective falls my data center to a major security risk. Some executive users uses USB modems also.
1. They bypass my corporate Internet
2. If the Laptop is compromised, it will bridge hacker to my Data center through the Laptop
I discussed this with Cisco and Juniper NAC vendors and had no effective solution.
Please give your valued comments.
