A problem I've been having for some time, when I go into a users folder I can access the documents folder as an administrator. The desktop folder I always get access denied and can't even see the permissions. I do have folder redirection on.
Next, this has also been happening for a long time. I have a folder with some program files to install on users computers. They can access the files and so can I when I log in as the administrator on their machine. If I download a file on their computer, like the latest version of a program as the administrator and then try to copy it to the shared folder I get access denied. Its very frustrating as I am logged in as the admin, checked to make sure the administrator is a member of domain admins, the folder supposedly has access to domain admins, any suggestions?
I think there is something permission wise I am missing in general. Also, I have had it happen where as the administrator I save a file in a users folder, they cannot run it then and get access denied, should those not be inherited based on the folder rights? I will say this does all typically happen with the desktop folder however now that I think about it....
